Since 2003 Institutional Review Board (IRB) has been functioning at HRU which is designated to approve, monitor, and review biomedical and behavioral research involving humans. The IRB at HRU is registered at US National Institutes of Health (NIH). Registration number: IRB00009520.
The IRB at HRU is responsible for providing guidance and oversight for the human participant protection in research and for helping to maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. The Board consists of members of different professions such as physicians, psychologists and a lawyer.
